    Since 1984 Omaha Habitat For Humanity has built or rehabilitated more than 150 houses. It seeks to implement the gospel of Jesus Christ by working with the economically disadvantaged, helping them create a better human habitat in which to live and work.

    Week of Compassion is the relief and development fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada.
