Wedding At
First
Christian Church
Thank you
for your interest in having your wedding at First Christian Church.
Our goal is to help you not only have a beautiful wedding,
but a great start toward a wonderful, lasting relationship.
Our co-pastors have been married for nearly 30 years and have
served together in ministry for 17.
Their desire is to assist you in every possible way to
explore your goals and dreams, as well as to help you in making your
marriage a life-long enriching experience.
While
assisting you in organizing and planning your wedding, they will
offer guidance in designing a wedding ceremony that is distinctly
yours and reflects your love for one another.
Most
importantly of all, we believe that when you choose to be married in
a church, you are inviting God’s blessing on your wedding and
inviting God’s presence in your relationship. We do not require
that couples married here be members of the congregation, but we do
encourage all couples to find a church home where they can grow
together spiritually as husband and wife. The most successful
marriages are those where the couple’s relationship has a
significant spiritual dimension.
First
Christian Church
offers two settings
for
your weddings.
The Sanctuary
is a light, airy, contemporary space with seating for 400.
The long center aisle, stained glass windows, and soaring
roof line make it an ideal setting for a beautiful and memorable
wedding.
The Huston Chapel,
located at the east end of the building, seats 75. Its warm and
intimate space, stained glass windows, and center aisle makes it
perfect for smaller weddings.
